Frequently Asked Questions.....
Q: What do you build?
Basically, everything! As you can see from the site, there is not much outside of my comfort zone or skill level. Let me know what you have in mind and your specific needs and I can craft it especially for you. Whether it's a 12 foot long dining table or a jewelry box, I am here for you!!!
Q: How do I start the ordering process?
Please visit The Process page.
Q: Do you have a price list / How much would it cost if..?
I handcraft each and every project one at a time mostly on a custom basis based on specific details and requirements. It is difficult to have a standard price because of the many variables and details that go into each project. If you have pictures, sketches, or an idea of a project that you like, please send it to me and I will be more than happy to contact you and start The Process and provide a proposal. If you see a project in my Portfolio, I can provide a loose estimate based on that specific project to give you an idea of pricing, however final pricing will depend on your specific requirements.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
No deposit is required in most cases to start your project, however, if I have to obtain specialty wood or hardware for your project, only a material deposit will be required before I start the building process.
Q: How long will my order take once I place it?
Since all projects are handcrafted one at a time, I will do my best to provide a ballpark completion date and delivery date. Depending on the level of detail of the project, I will provide an estimated time to complete when I get started.
Q: Can you deliver and is there a charge for delivery?
Delivery is free within 50 miles of zip code 30064. Beyond 50 miles, it will be a negotiated rate. Upon completion of your project, I will personally deliver your completed project and set it up for you in your home or business. You are always welcome to pick up your project at my shop. If you choose to have your project shipped to you, I will provide crated / wrapped and protected common carrier services (freight quote will be provided upon request).
Q: What payment options do you offer?
At this time I can only accept cash or check as payment for your commissioned projects. I am in the process of getting set up to take credit / debit cards which will be available in the near future. Final payment of your project (with or without a deposit) is due upon acceptance and delivery of your project or before shipping, if common carrier is chosen.
Q: Do you have any projects available for immediate purchase?
Typically I will not. Since I only handcraft custom projects, I typically don't have time to build and sell my own furniture. I prefer to custom build projects one at a time so you can be ensured you get exactly what you want.
Q: Do you have a warranty for your projects?
I personally guarantee each project I am commissioned to make for a client for a period of 2 years from the purchase date, non transferable and for the original owner only. This warranty guarantees the workmanship will not fail, as long as the project has been cared for properly and not abused. Proper care and maintenance instructions will be discussed at the time of delivery.
